The 16570 Explorer ii Models just keep going up! Perhaps collectors have caught on to the belief that these era Rolexes hit all the right notes, similar to how the 16610 has been on fire in recent years. This one is a rare SWISS ONLY transitional dial, with all the fixens, making it extra special.

U9XXXX serial number from 1998. Rare transitional Swiss Only dial. Full kit including outer box, inner box, warranty paper, and manuals. Watch is in fantastic condition. Case is very clean, with some minor wear from normal use, around 93-95%. Case has received one polish in the past.

The front bezel is in great shape with some light wear, and some light fading on some of the numerals on the bezel. Bracelet is in excellent condition with light stretch. 12 Full links not including end links, so this watch will fit a big wrist. The movement has been cleaned and is keeping excellent time. No box or papers.

The grand-daddy of the modern Root Beer GMT, this watch inspired the version you see gracing modern wrists. This watch is a visual stunner between the colors on the dial, bezel and two tone case. The brown dial has aged beautifully to a deep tobacco color with a gorgeous sheen that is activated when it's touched by light. This is a rarer "Nipple Dial" version with rounded indices.

This watch has got a little bit of old and a little bit of new. The glossy SWISS MADE dial contrasts with the old charm of the acrylic crystal. With the jubilee bracelet on, this watch fits perfectly....It drapes just perfectly on the wrist. The pepsi bezel is in near NOS condition and gives the watch a wonderful pop. Dial, Crystal, Bezel, Bracelet - this watch alternates old and new so well.

WHY THIS WATCH
One of the most iconic timepieces among the Rolex line-up, the GMT-Master has enjoyed over 60 years of history since its inception in 1955. This watch has my favorite two tone combination on a Rolex. Lots of nice contrasting bits on this watch. The two tone case and two tone bezel catch the light in a really elegant way.
