WHY THIS WATCH

The Omega Seamaster, introduced in 1948, is a renowned line of dive watches from Swiss watchmaker Omega. Inspired by waterproof wristwatches made for the British military, the Seamaster has evolved over the decades, featuring improved water resistance and design enhancements. Notable models include the Seamaster 300, Planet Ocean, and Aqua Terra. The Seamaster gained global recognition as James Bond's watch in the 1990s, solidifying its status as an iconic timepiece.

The Omega Seamaster 300m Liquidmetal 233.30.41.21.01.001, released in 2014, honors the brand's heritage with a vintage-inspired design. Featuring a black ceramic bezel with Liquidmetal hour markers, anti-magnetic Master Co-Axial movement, and stainless steel case, this Seamaster pays homage to the original 1957 model while incorporating Omega's cutting-edge technology and craftsmanship.

The Omega Seamaster 300m Liquidmetal 233.30.41.21.01.001 is a special watch for its blend of heritage and innovation. With a vintage-inspired design reminiscent of 1957 original, it features advanced materials such as a ceramic bezel with Liquidmetal hour markers. Its anti-magnetic Master Co-Axial movement ensures precision, while the stainless steel case guarantees durability and style.

The Omega Seamaster 300m Liquidmetal 233.30.41.21.01.001 features the Master Co-Axial Calibre 8400, known for its anti-magnetic properties and accuracy. This automatic movement is resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gausses and has a 60-hour power reserve. Its Co-Axial escapement reduces friction, increasing service intervals and ensuring long-lasting performance.

On the wrist, this watch wears a touch bigger than its 41mm case size would suggest due to its thickness and lug construction. This watch has a thin bezel and is all dial (which I like). The dial is super legible, with the broad arrow pointing at the hours. Peering through the case back, this watch has a beautifully decorated Co-Axial movement.
